ORDINANCE WAIVING SECTION 27-29 OF THE CODE
OF ORDINANCES WITH RESPECT TO PLACING A
SIDEWALK ALONG THE SOUTH LINE OF LOT 1-B,
BLOCK 92, ORIGINAL TOWNSITE
WHEREAS, it is the intent of the subject section of the Code
of Ordinances of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas to provide for
the proper and orderly development of land inside of the city
limits and extraterritorial jurisdiction;
WHEREAS, the granting of a waiver with respect to Section
27-29, which requires the construction of sidewalks on all
streets with the construction of any building, would not be
contrary to the stated objective when applied to the south line
of (Second Street) of Lot 1-B, Block 92 , Original Townsite.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Said requirement for sidewalk along the south line (Second
Street) of Lot 1-B, Block 92, is waived in the case of this
property until such time any future development, including
additional parking, is undertaken on Lot 1-B, Block 92 .
