ORDINANCE WAIVING SECTION 22-1( A )( 2 ) AND SECTION 22-1( A)( 9 )
OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES TO PERMIT VEHICLES ON THE GRASS
AND SIGNS IN JAYCEE PARK AND RESERVATION OF A PORTION OF THE
PARK BY KLUR FOR A KITE FLIGHT EVENT ON MARCH 24 , 1991 .
WHEREAS , KLUR radio has requested permission to host a
Kite Flight event on March 24 , 1991 in Jaycee Park; and,
WHEREAS, in order for the event to be better , KLUR
requests permission to drive two vehicles upon the grass and
to post banners; and ,
WHEREAS , the event was conducted last year with no
reported problems .
NOW , THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS , TEXAS , THAT:
Section 22-1( a )( 2 ) and Section 22-1( a )( 9) of the Code
of Ordinances is hereby waived to permit vehicles on the
grass , and to post banners , and a portion of Jaycee Park is
reserved to KLUR for a Kite Flight event on March 24 , 1991 .
