ORDINANCE NO. 1134-/
ORDINANCE WAIVING SECTIONS 22-1( 8 ) AND 22-1( A )(9 ) OF THE
CODE OF ORDINANCES TO PERMIT SALES AND THE POSTING OF SIGNS
IN HAMILTON PARK ON OCTOBER 5, 1991 FOR THE BOW WOW RUN.
WHEREAS , the Animal Friendship League wished to host a
Bow Wow Run in Hamilton Park on Saturday , October 5 , 1991 ;
and ,
WHEREAS , the League has requested permission to sell
refreshments and post advertising signs in the park during
their event; and ,
WHEREAS, the League has conducted their event last year
in a responsible manner ; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council finds the circumstances
involved in these requests exceptional , and that such
waivers should be granted.
NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS , TEXAS, THAT:
Sections 22-1(a )(8)( 9) of the Code of Ordinances are
hereby waived granting permission to the Animal Friendship
League to conduct sales of refreshments and post advertising
signs during their Bow Wow Run in Hamilton Park , October 5 ,
1991 .
