ORDINANCE WAIVING SECTION 22-1 (a) (2) , SECTION 22-1 (a) (9) ,
AND SECTION 22-4 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES TO PERMIT
VEHICLES ON THE GRASS, SIGNS, AND BEER DURING A RED RIVER
CHAMPIONSHIP EVENT IN JAYCEE PARK ON
SEPTEMBER 6 AND 7, 1991 .
WHEREAS, the Wichita Falls Jaycees plan a Red River
Chili Championship in Jaycee Park on September 6 and 7,
1991 ; and,
WHEREAS, it is desirable to permit vehicles on the
grass, signs, and sale and consumption of beer during the
event; and,
WHEREAS, circumstances in this situation are
exceptional .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Section 22-1 (a) (2) , Section 22-1 (a) (9) , and Section
22-4 of the Code of Ordinances are hereby waived to permit
vehicles on the grass, signs, and the sale and consumption
of beer during the Red River Chili Championship in Jaycee
Park on September 6 and 7, 1991 .
