ORDINANCE WAIVING SECTION 32-139 OF THE CODE
OF ORDINANCES WITH RESPECT TO DETENTION
REQUIREMENTS FOR BLOCK 11, STEHLIK AND BABER
SUBDIVISION
WHEREAS, it is the intent of the subject section of the Code
of Ordinances of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas to provide for
the proper and orderly development of land inside the city limits
and extraterritorial jurisdiction;
WHEREAS, the granting of a waiver with respect to Section
32-139, which requires the construction of storm water detention
facilities would not be contrary to the stated objective when
applied to the construction of a 100 x 125 foot metal building on
Block 11, Stehlik and Baber Subdivision.
WHEREAS, it is not the intent of this ordinance to waive
Section 32-139 for future development on Block 11, Stehlik and
Baber Subdivision.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Said requirement for storm water detention facilities on
Block 11, Stehlik and Baber Subdivision is hereby waived to
permit the building of a 100 x 125 foot building but will remain
in effect for future development.
