ORDINANCE MAKING AN APPROPRIATION IN
THE GENERAL FUND FROM ADDITIONAL GRANT
REVENUES FROM THE TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF
HEALTH AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO EXECUTE CONTRACT ACCEPTING SAME
WHEREAS, the City has received approval for additional grant
funds from the Texas Department of Health; and
WHEREAS, the Wichita Falls-Wichita County Public Health
District and the Texas Department of Health desire to enter into
a contract for certain public health services; and
WHEREAS, the approval of these funds could not have been
anticipated prior to the adoption of the 1991-92 budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
There is hereby appropriated in the General Fund $45,291. 00
for a HIV Health and Social Services Grant and $41, 392 . 00 for a
HIV Care Consortium Grant and the City Manager is authorized to
enter into contract with the Texas Department of Health for the
Wichita Falls-Wichita County Public Health District.
