ORDINANCE MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FROM
REVENUE AND EQUITY ASSETS OF THE 1984 WATER
AND SEWER BOND ISSUE TO AN APPROPRIATE
OPERATING ACCOUNT FOR PURPOSES OF FUNDING
LAKE DIVERSION SPILLWAY
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls issued water and sewer
bonds in 1984 for the purpose of ". . .refunding all of the
outstanding water and sewer system revenue bonds of the City and

for the purpose of providing money for improvements and
extensions of the City's combined water and sewer system. " ;
WHEREAS, the Council desires to use the remaining funds of
the bond issue for a project to make certain additions to the
Lake Diversion spillway;
WHEREAS, a portion of the remaining bond funds must be
appropriated by Council so the funds can be used for the cited
project; and,
WHEREAS, an urgent public necessity exists to award bids for
the stated project in a timely manner, therefore the charter
requirement delaying the effective date of this ordinance for
thirty days from date of passage is hereby suspended and this
ordinance shall take effect immediately upon passage.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
• There is hereby appropriated from the revenue portion of the
1984 Water and Sewer Bond Issue (Fund 83) a current amount of
4 $33 , 148.82 and all future earnings to the revenue portion. There
is also appropriated from the equity portion of the 1984 Water
and Sewer Bond Issue (Fund 83) a current amount of $208, 170.01
and all future earnings. These amounts are appropriated to
operating account 83-766-4365.
