ORDINANCE WAIVING SECTION 22-S OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES
PERMITTING RIDERS ON IN-LINE SKATES RIGHT OF WAY AND
RESERVATION OF THE WEST PARKING LOT FOR AN EVENT BY THE BIKE
STOP ON APRIL 5, 1992 IN LUCY PARK.
WHEREAS, the Bike Stop wishes to host an in-line roller
skate event on April 5, 1992 in Lucy Park; and,
WHEREAS, they believe it will be a better event if from
2 - 4 p.m. the users of in-line roller skates would have
priority use; and,
WHEREAS, the Bike Stop will post volunteers at key
trail access points to advise trail users of the temporary
priority change; and,
WHEREAS, circumstances in this request are exceptional .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Section 22-5 of the Code of Ordinances is hereby waived
from 2 -- 4 p.m. giving users of in-line skaters the right of
way and granting reservation of the west parking lot during
an event by the Bike Stop on April 5, 1992 in Lucy Park.
