ORDINANCE WAIVING SECTION 22-1 (a) (2) AND SECTION 22-1 (a) (9)
OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES PERMITTING VEHICLES ON THE GRASS
AND SIGNS DURING AN EVENT BY NOSTALGIC STREET MACHINES ON
JULY 25, 1992 IN LUCY PARK.
WHEREAS, the Nostalgic Street Machine club desires to
host an event on July 25, 1992 in Lucy Park; and,
WHEREAS, in order for the event to be better it is
requested they be permitted to drive vehicles upon the grass
to display their vehicles and to post signs; and,
WHEREAS, no problems were reported during their event
last year; and,
WHEREAS, they have agreed to keep their vehicles beyond
the drip line of the trees; and,
WHEREAS, circumstances are exceptional with this
requests.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Section 22 -1 (a) (2) and Section 22-1 (a) (9) of the Code
of Ordinances are hereby waived to permit vehicles upon the
grass and signs during an event by Nostalgic Street Machines
on July 25, 1992 in Lucy Park.
