AN ORDINANCE WAIVING SECTION 18-49 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES IN
ORDER TO VOID THE ASSESSMENT OF MOWING COSTS AND RELEASE OF LIEN
ON PROPERTY LOCATED AT 205 BROOK STREET.
WHEREAS, the property located at 205 Brook Street is owned by
Glenda Fae Wiist; and
WHEREAS, such property was cited for violation of City Ordinance
18-49 on 5/1/91; and
WHEREAS, Mr. R. W. Wiist asserts that the city was in error in
assessment of costs for mowing relative to this violation; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Wichita Falls finds that
it would be in the best interest of the city to waive the costs of such
mowing and any associated fees and accrued interest against said
property relative to Ordinance 18-49.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Section 18-49 of the Code of Ordinances is hereby waived for the
costs incurred by the City resulting from the May 1, 1991 violation of
Section 18-46 for property located at 205 Brook Street. In addition,
the City hereby agrees to release the lien on such property resulting
from said violation.
