ORDINANCE WAIVING SECTION 27-29 OF THE CODE
OF ORDINANCES WITH RESPECT TO PLACING A
SIDEWALK ALONG THE WEST LINE OF LOT 1, BLOCK
1, WATTS ADDITION
WHEREAS, it is the intent of the subject section of the Code
of Ordinances of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas to provide for
the proper and orderly development of land inside of the city
limits and extraterritorial jurisdiction; and,
WHEREAS, the granting of a waiver with respect to Section
27-29, which requires the construction of sidewalks on all
streets with the construction of any building, would not be
contrary to this stated objective when applied to the west line
of Lot 1.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Said requirement for sidewalk along the west line of Lot 1,
Block 1, Watts Addition abutting City View Drive is waived in the
case of this property.
