ORDINANCE WAIVING SECTION 32-139 OF THE CODE
OF ORDINANCES WITH RESPECT TO DETENTION
REQUIREMENTS FOR LOT 1, BLOCK 2, MARGARET
RAMSEY SURVEY, A-471
WHEREAS, it is the intent of the subject section of the Code
of Ordinances of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas to provide for
the proper and orderly development of land inside the city limits
and extraterritorial jurisdiction;
WHEREAS, the granting of a waiver with respect to Section
32-139, which requires the construction of storm water detention
facilities would not be contrary to the stated objective when
applied to Lot 1, Block 2, Margaret Ramsey Survey, A-471, if
construction is limited to a single family home.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Said requirement for storm water detention facilities on
Lot 1, Block 2, Margaret Ramsey Survey, A-471 is hereby waived,
but such waiver is limited to the construction of a single family
home.
