ORDINANCE WAIVING SECTION 32-139 OF THE CODE
OF ORDINANCES WITH RESPECT TO DETENTION
REQUIREMENTS FOR THE PORTION OF THE UNPLATTED
AREA OF EXPRESSWAY VILLAGE DRAINING NORTHEAST
TO SHEPPARD AIR FORCE BASE
WHEREAS, it is the intent of the subject section of the Code
of Ordinances of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas to provide for
the proper and orderly development of land inside the city limits
and extraterritorial jurisdiction; and
WHEREAS, the granting of a waiver with respect to Section
32-139, which requires the construction of storm water detention
facilities would not be contrary to the stated objective when
applied to the portion of the unplatted area of Expressway
Village draining northeast to Sheppard Air Force Base.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Said requirement for storm water detention facilities on the
portion of the unplatted area of Expressway Village draining
northeast to Sheppard Air Force Base is hereby aived.
