ORDINANCE WAIVING SECTION 32-139 OF THE CODE
OF ORDINANCES WITH RESPECT TO DETENTION
REQUIREMENTS FOR LOT 1, BLOCK 6, SUMMIT VIEW
ESTATES
WHEREAS, it is the intent of the subject section of the Code
of Ordinances of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas to provide for
the proper and orderly development of land inside the city limits
and extraterritorial jurisdiction; and
WHEREAS, the granting of a waiver with respect to Section
32-139, which requires the construction of storm water detention
facilities would not be contrary to the stated objective when
applied to Lot 1, Block 6, Summit View Estates, if construction
is limited to a single family dwelling.
WHEREAS, it is not the intent of this ordinance to waive
Section 32-139 for future development on Lot 1, Block 6, Summit
View Estates.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Said requirement for storm water detention facilities on Lot
1, Block 6, Summit View Estates is hereby waived, for
construction of a single family dwelling.
