ORDINANCE WAIVING SECTION 32-139 OF THE CODE
OF ORDINANCES WITH RESPECT TO DETENTION
REQUIREMENTS FOR THE REMAINING 2639 ACRES OF
UNDEVELOPED LAND WITHIN THE LIMITS OF THE
MASTER PLAN OF BELAIR SUBDIVISION
WHEREAS, it is the intent of the subject section of the Code
of Ordinances of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas to provide for
the proper and orderly development of land inside the city limits
and extraterritorial jurisdiction;
WHEREAS, the granting of a waiver with respect to Section
32-139, which requires the construction of storm water detention
facilities would not be contrary to the stated objective when
applied to the remaining 26. 39 acres of undeveloped land within
the limits of the Master Plan of Belair Subdivision.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Said requirements for storm water detention facilities for
the remaining 26. 39 acres of undeveloped land within the limits
of the Master Plan of Belair Subdivision is her- .y waive.
