ORDINANCE WAIVING SECTION 22-1( a )( 9 ) AND SECTION 22-4
OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES TO PERMIT SIGNS
AND CONSUMPTION OF BEER AND RESERVATION OF LAND
DURING AN EVENT TO BENEFIT THE AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY
FOR A FUNRUN APRIL 17 , 1993 IN HAMILTON PARK .
WHEREAS , the American Cancer Society has requested
permission to reserve a portion of Hamilton Park for a fun
run event April 17 , 1993 in Hamilton Park; and ,
WHEREAS , in order for the event to be more successful
they request permission to serve beer and to post banners;
and,
WHEREAS , they have conducted such an event last year
with no reported problems .
NOW , THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS , TEXAS , THAT:
Section 22-1( a )( 9 ) and Section 22-4 of the Code of
Ordinances are hereby waived to permit signs and beer for a
fun run event by the American Cancer Society April 17 , 1993
in Hamilton Park _
