ORDINANCE WAIVING SECTION 22-1( a )( 2 ) AND SECTION 22-1( a )( 9 )
CODE OF ORDINANCES TO PERMIT VEHICLES ON THE TRAIL
AND SIGNS DURING A WICHITA GENERAL HOSPITAL
GREAT DUCK RACE EVENT
MARCH 27 , 1993 BY THE FALLS
WHEREAS , Wichita General Hospital has requested
permission to conduct a Second Great Duck Race event by the
Falls; and
WHEREAS , to make their event more successful they wish
permission to drive their microwave truck down the trail to
broadcast the event; and ,
WHEREAS , no reported problems were received after their
event last year .
NOW , THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL_ OF
THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS , TEXAS , THAT:
Section 22-1( a )( 2 ) and Section 22-1( a )( 9 ) of the Code
of Ordinances is hereby waived to permit vehicles on the
trail , and signs during Wichita General Hospital Great Duck
Race event March 27 , 1993 by the Falls .
