ORDINANCE WAIVING SECTION 22-1( a )( 9 ) OF THE CODE OF
ORDINANCES TO PERMIT SIGNS DURING MARCH OF DIMES '
WALK AMERICA EVENT , APRIL 24 , 1993 IN LUCY PARK .
WHEREAS , March of Dimes has requested use of Lucy Park
April 24 , 1993 for their Walk America event ; and ,
WHEREAS , in order for the event to the more successful
they wish to post signs in the park; and ,
WHEREAS , they have conducted such event last year with
no reported problems; and ,
WHEREAS , circumstances in their request for waiver of
signs during the event are exceptional .
NOW , THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS , TEXAS , THAT:
Section 22-1( a )( 9 ) of the Code of Ordinances is hereby
waived to permit signs for a Walk America eve• by the March
of Dimes , April 24 , 1993 in Lucy Park . i'
