ORDINANCE WAIVING SECTION 32-139 OF THE CODE
OF ORDINANCES WITH RESPECT TO DETENTION
REQUIREMENTS FOR LOT 3, BLOCK 40-A, MESA
IRRIGATED FARMS
WHEREAS, it is the intent of the subject section of the Code
of Ordinances of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas to provide for
the proper and orderly development of land inside the city limits
and extraterritorial jurisdiction; and
WHEREAS, the granting of a waiver with respect to Section
32-139, which requires the construction of storm water detention
facilities would not be contrary to the stated objective when
applied to Lot 3 , Block 40-A, Mesa Irrigated Farms.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Said requirement for storm water detention facilities on Lot
3 , Block 40-A, Mesa Irrigated Farms is hereby waived to permit
the building of a single family residence, but will remain in
effect for future development.
