ORDINANCE WAIVING SECTIONS 22-1( a)( 2), 22-4 , AND
SECTION 16-16 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES
TO PERMIT ANIMALS ON THE GRASS , ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES,
FEES FOR FOOD BOOTHS DURING FALLS FEST
SEPTEMBER 24 - 26, 1993 IN LUCY PARK.
WHEREAS , Falls Fest is a desirable festival for the community;
and
WHEREAS, it is deemed the event will be better if permission is
given to allow animals on the grass , beer and wine sales, and non-
payment of food booth permits; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds the circumstances involved are
exceptional , and that the requested waivers should be granted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The provisions of Section 22-1(a )( 2) of the Code of Ordinances
are hereby waived to permit animals on the grass as is reasonably
necessary to conduct
Y Fa 11sFest at Lucy Park.
The provisions of Section 22-4 of the Code of Ordinances are
hereby waived to allow alcoholic beverages in Lucy Park for the period
from September 24 through September 26, 1993.
The provisions of Section 16-16 of the Code of Ordinances is
hereby waived insofar as it applies to permit fees for food booths at
FallsFest in Lucy Park on September 24 through September 26, 1993.
