ORDINANCE WAIVING SECTION 27-29 OF THE CODE
OF ORDINANCES WITH RESPECT TO PLACING A
SIDEWALK ALONG THE NORTHWEST AND SOUTHEAST
LINES OF LOT 3 , BLOCK 15, KEMP & NEWBY
SUBDIVISION
WHEREAS, it is the intent of the subject section of the Code
of Ordinances of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas to provide for
the proper and orderly development of land inside the city limits
and extraterritorial jurisdiction; and
WHEREAS, the granting of a waiver with respect to Section
27-29, which requires the construction of sidewalks on all
streets with the construction of any building, would not be
contrary to this stated objective when applied to the northwest
and southeast lines of Lot 3 , Block 15, Kemp & Newby Subdivision.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Said requirements for sidewalk along the northwest and
southeast lines of Lot 3 , Block 15, Kemp & Newby Subdivision
abutting the southeast line of East Scott Street and the
northwest line of East Fort Worth Street is hereby waived in the
case of this development.
