AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS,
REZONING THE EAST .72 ACRES (138' x
227.4' ) OUT OF BLOCK 2, WINDTHORST
ROAD ADDITION, (2500 BANDERA
BOULEVARD) , WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS,
FROM GENERAL COMMERCIAL (GC) TO
RESIDENTIAL MIXED USE (RMU) (CASE R
93-06) ; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT
THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS ORDINANCE
WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS
REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission has recommended
that the east .72 acres (138' x 227.4' ) out of Block 2, Windthorst
Road Addition, (2500 Bandera Boulevard) , Wichita Falls, Texas, be
rezoned from General Commercial (GC) zone to Residential Mixed Use
(RMU) zone; and
WHEREAS, the City City Council of the City of Wichita Falls,
Texas deems that the proposed rezoning of the area hereafter
described is in accordance with the Comprehensive Land Use Plan and
in the public interest.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the east .72 acres (138' x 227.4) out of
Block 2, Windthorst Road Addition, (2500 Bandera Boulevard) ,
Wichita Falls, Texas, shown as the shaded area on the attached map,
incorporated in this ordinance as Attachment No. 1, be rezoned from
General Commercial (GC) to Residential Mixed Use (RMU) zone.
SECTION 2 . It is hereby officially found and determined that
the meeting at which this ordinance was passed was open to the
public as required by law. L /
