ORDINANCE MAKING AN APPROPRIATION IN THE GENERAL
FUND FOR ADDITIONAL GRANT REVENUE FROM THE TEXAS
DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO EXECUTE CONTRACT ACCEPTING SAME.
WHEREAS , The City of Wichita Falls has received approval for
additional grant funds from the Texas Department of Health; and
WHEREAS, The Wichita Falls-Wichita County Public Health
District and the Texas Department of Health desire to enter into
a contract for certain health services ; and
WHEREAS, The approval of these funds could not have been
anticipated prior to the adoption of the 1993-94 Budget ,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS , TEXAS , THAT
There is hereby appropriated in the General Fund $22, 935.00
for the Maternal and Child Health Grant , and the City Manager is
authorized to enter into contract with the Texas Department of
Health for the Wichita Falls-Wichita County Public Health
District .
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS THE 2ND DAY OF NOVEMBER, 1993 .
