ORDINANCE RE-APPROPRIATING $383 , 617 . 59 FROM
THE SANITATION FUND EQUITY TO THE LANDFILL
OPERATIONAL ACCOUNT
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to continue to operate its
Sanitary Landfill to serve the citizens of the City of Wichita
Falls; and,
WHEREAS, Federal Environmental Protection Agency has
promulgated rules for operation of sanitary landfills on October
9, 1993 as 40 CFR, Parts 257 and 258 ; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council has previously appropriated
$1, 355, 446 from the Sanitation Fund Equity to Sanitation Fund
Operational Account on July 6, 1993 ; and,
WHEREAS, there remains $383 , 617 . 59 left from this
appropriated account which needs to be carried forward to the
next budget year.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The sum of $383 , 617 . 59 is hereby re-appropriated from
Sanitation Fund Equity to the Operating Accounts .
