AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS
REZONING A 0.43 ACRE TRACT OUT LOT 1, BLOCK 1, TARRY ADDITION, WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, FROM SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL (SF-2) TO GENERAL
COMMERCIAL (GC) (CASE R 94-02); FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE
MEETING AT WHICH THIS ORDINANCE WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS
REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the Planning & Zoning Commission has recommended that a 0.43 acre tract out of
Lot 1, Block 1, Tarry Addition, Wichita Falls, Texas, be rezoned from Single Family Residential (SF-2)
to General Commercial (GC); and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, deems that the proposed
rezoning of the area hereafter described is in accordance with the Comprehensive Land Use Plan and in
the public interest.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. A 0.43 acre tract out of Lot 1, Block 1, Tarry Addition, Wichita Falls, Texas, more
particularly described as follows:
The north 100 x 187.8 feet of the south 223.5 x 187.8 feet of Lot 1, Block
1, Tarry Addition, Wichita Falls, Texas.
SECTION 2. That said 0.43 acre tract out of Lot 1, Block 1, Tarry Addition, Wichita Falls, Texas,
as shown as the shaded area on the attached map, incorporated in this ordinance as Attachment No. 1, be
rezoned from Single Family Residential (SF-2)to General Commercial (GC).
SECTION 3. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at which this ordinance
was passed was open to the public as required by law.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 1st day of February, 1994.
