ORDINANCE WAIVING SECTION 22-1( a )( 2 ) AND SECTION 22-1( a )( 9 )
OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES TO PERMIT VEHICLES ON THE
GRASS AND SIGNS DURING AN EVENT JULY 23
AND JULY 24 , 1994 IN LUCY PARK .
WHEREAS , the Nostalgic Street Machine club wishes to
host a public event displaying their members ' cars July 23
and July 24 in Lucy Park; and ,
WHEREAS , to make their event better they request
permission to drive their vehicles upon the grass and post
signs; and ,
WHEREAS , the club has held previous events in Lucy Park
with no problems reported .
NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS , TEXAS , THAT:
Section 22 -1( a )( 2 ) and Section 22-1( a )( 9 ) of the Code
of Ordinances are hereby waived to permit vehicles upon the
grass and signs during an event by Nostalgic Street Machines
on July 23 and July 24 , 1994 , in Lucy Park .--
