ORDINANCE NO . 73 94
ORDINANCE WAIVING SECTION 22-1( a )( 2 ) OF THE CODE OF
ORDINANCES TO GRANT PERMISSION TO DRIVE A VEHICLE ON THE
GRASS TO THE TEX-MEX BASEBALL LEAGUE IN SPUDDER PARK .
WHEREAS , the Tex Mex Baseball Association wishes to use
Spudder Park baseball field for their 1994 season: April 3rd
through September 5th , 1994 on Sunday from noon until 6:00
p .m .
WHEREAS , they have requested permission to drive a
vehicle upon the grass in order to drag the infield; and ,
WHEREAS , they will be informed as to the specifics of
driving upon the grass and method of dragging the grass .
NOW , THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS , TEXAS , THAT:
Section 22 -1( a )( 2 ) of the Code of Ordinances is hereby
waived to permit vehicles upon the grass by the Tex-Mex
Baseball League to drag the infield . The specifics of
driving upon the grass and method of dragging will be given
to the League .
