ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING GRANT FUNDS
RECEIVED FROM THE TEXAS DEPARTMENT
OF TRANSPORTATION FOR A TRAFFIC
SAFETY PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the Traffic Safety Commission is appointed by the
City Council, and
WHEREAS, the Traffic Safety Commission has been notified by
the Texas Department of Transportation that it has received
approval for a Traffic Safety Program Grant in the amount of
$3, 000, and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to appropriate these funds to the
City's budget and accounting records.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
There is hereby appropriated $3,000 in the General Fund for
grant funds received from the Texas Department of Transportation
for a Traffic Safety Program.
