AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING APPROXIMATELY 36 ACRES OUT OF
THE ROBERT EVANS SURVEY (A-74) ON PETITION OF THE
LANDOWNER; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE
MEETING AT WHICH THIS ORDINANCE WAS PASSED WAS OPEN
TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, Dan and Duania Richardson are owners of approximately 36 acres of land
contiguous to the City Limits of Wichita Falls and have requested annexation into the City Limits of
Wichita Falls, and
WHEREAS, Dan and Duania Richardson propose to extend municipal utilities necessary to
support a proposed subdivision of land at their own expense, requiring no participation in cost by the City
of Wichita Falls to the extension of municipal utilities; and
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls will provide the necessary emergency services, solid waste
collection, and other services typically enjoyed by residents of the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The tract of land described in Attachment A is hereby ordered to be annexed and
included into the corporate limits of Wichita Falls, Texas, and the corporate limits be extended to include
said tract.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at which this ordinance
was passed was open to the public as required by law.

FIELD NOTES OF A 36.19 ACRE TRACT OUT OF THE ROBERT
EVANS SURVEY, A-74, WICHITA COUNTY, TEXAS,
DESCRIBED BY METES AND BOUNDS AS FOLLOWS:
BEGINNING at an iron rod at the Northwest corner of a 35.384 acre tract
out of the Robert Evans Survey, A-74, Wichita County, Texas, described in
Warranty Deed from L.W. Riesen to Larry R. Rains, et al at Volume 1272,
Page 874, Wichita County Deed Records, said corner also being the
Southwest corner of a 3.255 Acre tract conveyed to Ann Vinson at Volume
1695, Page 537, Wichita County Deed Records and in the East line of
Turtle Creek Road.
THENCE with fence S 89° 27' 25" E 1335.6 feet to the Northeast corner of
said 35.384 Acre tract on the West bank of the Big Wichita River;
THENCE down the West bank of the Big Wichita River with its meanders as
follows: S 16° 26' 158.3 feet, S 24° E 170.0 feet S 34° E 200.0 feet, S 47° E
190.0 feet S 44° E 130.0 feet to the Northern Northeast corner of
Tanglewood Hollow, Section C, as shown on Plat recorded at Volume 22,
Page 49, Wichita County Plat Records;
THENCE with the North line of Tanglewood Hollow, Section C, S 76° 06'
30" W at 237.1 feet pass the Northwest corner of Lot 5, Block 6 of said
Section C, and continuing on same course in all 1424.8 feet to an iron rod
at the Northwest corner of Section C;
THENCE S 76° 16' W 529.7 feet to an iron rod in the East line of said Turtle
Creek Road at the Southwest corner of the aforementioned 35.384 Acre
tract;
THENCE with the East line of Turtle Creek Road as follows: N 01° 49' W
100.0 feet, N 08° 06' W 400.0 feet, N 05° 00' E 147.4 feet and N 16° 21' E
