ORDINANCE ACCEPTING FUNDS FROM THE TEXAS FOREST SERVICE FOR
A TREE GRANT AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS IN THE GENERAL FUND
TO ACCOUNT FOR EXPENSES RELATED TO THIS GRANT.
WHEREAS, it is desirable to beautify the City through
the planting of trees; and,
WHEREAS, the Texas Forest Service has awarded a grant
of Ten Thousand ( $10,000 . ) Dollars to the City for the
planting of 200 trees; and,
WHEREAS, the grant funds should be appropriated by the
City Council to enable the funds to be spent .
NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS , TEXAS, THAT:
The Ten Thousand ( $10,000. ) Dollars Texas Forest
Service grant is hereby accepted and the funds appropriated
from the General Fund to account for expense to this grant .
