AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A WAIVER TO AGAPE FELLOWSHIP
CHURCH OF SECTION 4600 OF THE ZONING ORDNANCE REQUIRING
SCREENING OF NONRESIDENTIAL USES ADJACENT TO SINGLE-
FAMILY USES; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT
WHICH THIS ORDNANCE WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS
REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, Agape Fellowship Church has requested a waiver of the screening requirements of
Section 4600 of the Zoning Ordinance; and
WHEREAS,the Planning and Zoning Commission has determined that the waiving of Section 4600
of the Zoning Ordinance still fulfills the intended purpose of separating nonresidential land uses from
single-family land uses because of unique site conditions.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Section 4600 of the Zoning Ordinance is hereby waived for Agape Fellowship Church
after finding that no community purpose will be served in requiring the screening as required in the
Zoning Ordinance.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at which this ordinance
was passed was open to the public as required by law.
