Resolution Awarding The Bid For The Jasper Water Treatment Plant
High Service Pump No. 4 Replacement Project (CWF10-550-06) And
Performance Of Ancillary Work On Pump No. 3, To J.S. Haren
Company, In An Estimated Total Amourrt Of $307,000
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls had budgeted for the replacement of Pump
No. 4 at the Jasper Water Treatment Plant;
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls desires to optimize the operation of Pump
No. 3 at the Jasper Water Treatment Plant;
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls advertised for bids for the Jasper Water
Treatment Plant High Service Pump No. 4 Replacement; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the lowest responsible bidder is J.S.
Haren Company, which made a total bid of $307,000.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The Jasper Water Treatment Plant High Service Pump No. 4 Replacement
Project, with both additive alternates, is awarded to J.S. Haren Company in the
approximate amount of $307,000, and the City Manager is authorized to execute a
contract for the City with said Contractor for the performance of said work.
