Resolution Rejecting All Bids For The Purchase Of Eight ¾-Ton
Pickups
WHEREAS, the City anticipated the receipt of bids for the purchase of eight ¾-
ton pickup trucks on December 5, 2013;
WHEREAS, due to inclement weather, City offices were closed early on
December 4 and closed entirely on December 5;
WHEREAS, as a result, mail deliveries were postponed and/or vendors were
unable to submit bids by the due date of the bid specifications; and
WHEREAS, it is in the City’s best interest to reject all bids, re-advertise and
solicit bids with a new due date.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The City hereby rejects any and all bids received for the purchase of eight ¾-ton
pickup trucks that were originally due to the City on December 5, 2013.
PASSED AND APPROVED, this the 17th day of December, 2013.
