Resolution Authorizing The Purchase Of Eleven 2014 Police
Interceptor Utility Vehicles From Wichita Falls Ford, A Local Vendor,
In The Amount Of $309,176.01
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls advertised and requested bids for the
purchase of eleven 2014 Police Interceptor Utility Vehicles;
WHEREAS, bids were received and publically opened on November 13, 2013;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds the lowest responsible bid was Wichita Falls
Ford, in the amount of $309,176.01.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COIUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The bid for the purchase of eleven 2014 Police Interceptor Utility Vehicles is
awarded to Wichita Falls Ford, in the amount of $309,176.01, and staff is authorized to
execute all documents necessary to effectuate said purchase.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 3rd day of December 2013.
