ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING FUNDS FROM GENERAL
FUND EQUITY TO RELOCATE A STORM SEWER AROUND
THE EXHIBIT HALL OF THE MPEC PROJECT
WHEREAS, a storm sewer must be relocated as part of the
Exhibit Hall Project for the MPEC Center, and
WHEREAS, a contract has been awarded to Jalyn Construction
Company to relocate the storm sewer, and
WHEREAS, the existing storm sewer is in a deteriorated
condition and would have been replaced by the City at some future
date, and
and
WHEREAS, the existing storm sewer must be properly closed,
WHEREAS, the City benefits from this project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
There is hereby appropriated from General Fund Equity the
amount of $235,000 for the City's share of the storm sewer
relocation and closure project for the Exhibit Hall of the MPEC.
