Ord 051-95 5/2/1995ORDINANCE NO. `) I ' AN ORDINANCE REZONING LOTS 9 & 10, BLOCK F, RAY MASSIE SUBDIVISION (2018 & 2020 MAURINE STREET) AND 0.316 ACRES OUT OF ABSTRACT 580, FROM MULTIFAMILY RESIDENTIAL TO GENERAL COMMERCIAL (CASE R 95 -06); FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS ORDINANCE WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW. WHEREAS, the Planning & Zoning Commission recommended rezoning Lots 9 & 10, Block F, Ray Massie Subdivision (2018 & 2020 Maurine Street) and 0.316 acres out of Abstract 580, from Multifamily Residential to General Commercial (Case R 95 -06); and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas deems that the proposed rezoning of the area hereafter described is in accordance with the Comprehensive Land Use Plan and in the public interest. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT: SECTION I. Lots 9 & 10, Block F, Ray Massie Subdivision (2018 & 2020 Maurine Street) and 0.316 acres out of Abstract 580, from Multifamily Residential to General Commercial (Case R 95 -06) and shown as the shaded area on the attached map, incorporated in this ordinance as Attachment No. 1, be rezoned from Multifamily Residential (MFR) to General Commercial (GC). SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at which this ordinance was passed was open to the public as required by law.
