ORDINANCE WAIVING SECTION 22-1(a)(9) OF THE CODE OF
ORDINANCES PERMITTING SIGNS AND RESERVATION OF LAND IN
JONES PARK JUNE 15, 1995.
WHEREAS, the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs has
requested permission to use Harold Jones Park for a
dedication ceremony for their new Veterans Clinic June 15,
1995; and,
WHEREAS, in order to make their event more successful,
they wish to reserve a portion of land on the north side of
the park and to post signs.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
A portion of the north side of Harold Jones Park is
hereby reserved and Section 22-1(a)(9) of the Code of
Ordinances is hereby waived to permit the posting of signs
by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs during a
dedication event June 15, 1995.
