FALLS, TEXAS, REZONING 2024 AND 2026 MAURINE STREET, SOUTH

NORTH 164' LOT 7, BLOCK F, RAY MASSIE SUBDIVISION, AND 1.17
ACRES, ABSTRACT 580; FROM MULTIFAMILY RESIDENTIAL TO
GENERAL COMMERCIAL (CASE R 95 -13); FINDING AND
DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS ORDINANCE
WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the Planning & Zoning Commission recommended that 2024 and 2026 Maurine
Street, South 116' Lot 7, Block F, Ray Massie Subdivision, and Lot 6 and North 164' Lot 7, Block F,
Ray Massie Subdivision, and 1.17 acres, Abstract 580, Wichita Falls, Texas, be rezoned from
Multifamily Residential (MFR) to General Commercial (GC) (Case R 95 -13); and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, deems that the proposed
rezoning of the area hereafter described is in accordance with the Comprehensive Land Use Plan and in
the public interest.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS,
TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. 2024 and 2026 Maurine Street, South 116' Lot 7, Block F, Ray Massie
Subdivision, and Lot 6 and North 164' Lot 7, Block F, Ray Massie Subdivision, and 1.17 acres,
Abstract 580, Wichita Falls, Texas, and shown as the shaded area on the attached map, incorporated
into this ordinance as Attachment No. 1, be rezoned from Multifamily Residential (MFR) to General
Commercial (GC) (Case R 95 -13).
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at which this ordinance
was passed was open to the public as required by law.
