ORDINANCE WAIVING SECTION 27 -30 OF THE CODE
OF ORDINANCES WITH RESPECT TO PLACING
SIDEWALK ALONG THE NORTHERLY SIDE OF COVENTRY
CIRCLE OR THE SOUTHERLY BOUNDARY OF LOT 1,
BLOCK 18, LAKE WELLINGTON ESTATES, PHASE I
WHEREAS, it is the intent of the subject section of the Code
of Ordinances of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas to provide for
the proper and orderly development of land inside the city limits
and extraterritorial jurisdiction;
WHEREAS, the granting of a waiver with respect to Section
27 -30, which requires the construction of sidewalks on all
streets, would not be contrary to this stated objective when
applied to the northerly right -of -way line of Coventry Circle,
being the southerly property line of Lot 1, Block 18, Lake
Wellington Estates, Phase I.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Said requirements for sidewalk along the northerly right-
of -way line of Coventry Circle, being the southerly property line
of Lot 1, Block 18, Lake Wellington Estates, Phase I is hereby
waived in the case of this development.
