AN ORDINANCE CLOSING, VACATING, AND ABANDONING A TEN FOOT
WIDE UTILITY EASEMENT BETWEEN LOT 24 AND LOT 25, BLOCK 2,
TANGLEWOOD HOLLOW ADDITION; AUTHORIZING THE CONVEYANCE OF
THE ABANDONED EASEMENT TO THE FEE OWNER; FINDING AND
DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS ORDINANCE WAS
DISCUSSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has received a request to
close, vacate, and abandon the utility easement between Lot 24 and Lot
25, Block 2, Tanglewood Hollow Addition in order to plat the property
into one lot; and,
WHEREAS, the City has determined that it is in the public interest
to close the hereinafter described easement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. A 10.0 foot wide utility easement which centers on the
lot line between Lot 24 and Lot 25, Block 2, Tanglewood Hollow Addition
according to the plat of Tanglewood, Section 1 -C, as recorded in Volume
11, Page 52, of the Wichita County Plat Records and the plat of
Tanglewood Hollow, Section F -1, as recorded in Volume 23, Page 389,
Wichita County Plat Records, Wichita Falls, Texas, said easement
described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point in the East line of said Lot 24, Block 2,
Tanglewood Addition which bears S 340 25' E - 5.03 feet from its
Northeast corner;

10.06 feet to the PLACE OF BEGINNING;
BE HEREBY CLOSED, VACATED, AND ABANDONED.
SECTION 2. That in consideration of the receipt of Four Hundred Forty
Five and No /100 ($445.00) Dollars, the Mayor is hereby authorized to
execute a quit claim deed to Ram Selvaraj and wife, Anne Selvaraj, for
the above described property.
SECTION 3. It is hereby officially found and determined that the
meeting at which this ordinance was passed was open to the public as
required by law.
