ORDINANCE WAIVING SECTION 27 -29 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES
WITH RESPECT TO PLACING A SIDEWALK ALONG THE WEST SIDE OF
WELLINGTON LANE ADJACENT TO THE EAST LINE OF LOT 8, BLOCK 1 -A,
J. F. KIEL, SECOND SUBDIVISION
WHEREAS, it is the intent of the subject section of the Code of Ordinances of
the City of Wichita Falls, Texas to provide for the proper and orderly development of
land inside the city limits and extraterritorial jurisdiction; and
WHEREAS, the granting of a waiver with respect to Section 27 -29, which
requires the construction of sidewalks on all streets with the construction of any
building, would not be contrary to this stated objective when applied to the west side of
Wellington Lane adjacent to the east line of Lot 8, Block 1A, J. F. Kiel, Second
Subdivision.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Said requirements for sidewalk along west line of Wellington Lane, adjacent to
the east side of Lot 8, Block 1-A, J. F. Kiel, Second Subdivision is hereby waived in the
case of this development.
