ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 29 -45 (b) OF THE CODE OF
ORDINANCES, TO DELETE TRAVIS STREET, ARDATH STREET, AND
AUSTIN STREET FROM THE LISTING OF ONE WAY STREETS.
WHEREAS, the Wichita Falls City Council finds the health, safety, and
welfare of the community will be properly served by changing Travis and
Austin streets from one way to two way traffic.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS THAT:
The Code of Ordinances, City of Wichita Falls, Texas, is hereby
amended by deleting Travis Street, Austin Street, and Ardath Street from
the Listing of One Way Streets from Section 29 -45 (b).
Sec. 29 -45 (b) One Way Streets and Alleys
(b) Upon those streets and parts of streets and in those alleys
vehicular traffic shall move only in the indicated direction when
signs indicating the direction of traffic are erected and maintained
at every intersection where movement in the opposite direction is
prohibited. In accordance with this section, and when properly sign
posted, traffic shall move only in the direction indicated upon the
following streets:
