Res 117-2013 11/5/2013RESOLUTION NO. 117-2013 Resolution Authorizing A Conflict Of Interest Waiver For A City Employee In The City’s Department Of Public Works (Streets Division) Qualifying For Various U.S. Department Of Housing And Urban Development Funded Programs WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls must make full public disclosure of any conflict of interest that exists for employees that may gain a financial interest or benefit from programs funded by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development; and WHEREAS, this employee does not exercise any functions or responsibilities associated with the program; and WHEREAS, this employee is not in a position to participate in the decision- making process. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT: The conflict of interest provisions under these various U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Programs are waived for the City employee of the Streets Division of the City’s Department of Public Works who is a current applicant for said Programs.
