Ord 125-96 9/3/1996ORDINANCE NO. ORDINANCE WAIVING SECTION 27 -30 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES WITH RESPECT TO PLACING A SIDEWALK ON THE EAST SIDE OF HUNTINGTON LANE ADJACENT TO THE WEST LINE OF LOT 1, BLOCK 24, WICHITA VALLEY FARMS SUBDIVISION WHEREAS, it is the intent of the subject section of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas to provide for the proper and orderly development of land inside the city limits and extraterritorial jurisdiction; WHEREAS, the granting of a waiver with respect to Section 27 -30, which requires the construction of sidewalks on all streets with the construction of any building, would not be contrary to this stated objective when applied to the east side of Huntington Lane adjacent to the west line of Lot 1, Block 24, Wichita Valley Farms Subdivision. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT: Said requirements for sidewalk along the east side of Huntington Lane adjacent to the west line of Lot 1, Block 24, Wichita Valley Farms Subdivision is hereby waived in the case of this development.
