AN ORDINANCE REZONING TRACT 1, UNIT 1, EXPRESSWAY EAST
INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT, 2815 EAST CENTRAL EXPRESSWAY, WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, FROM HEAVY INDUSTRIAL TO HEAVY COMMERCIAL
ZONING (CASE R 96 -13); FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE
MEETING AT WHICH THIS ORDINANCE WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO
THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the Planning & Zoning Commission recommended that Tract 1, Unit 1, Expressway
East Industrial District, 2815 East Central Expressway, Wichita Falls, Texas, be rezoned from Heavy
Industrial to Heavy Commercial Zoning District (Case R 96 -13); and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas deems that the proposed rezoning
of the area hereafter described is in accordance with the Comprehensive Land Use Plan and in the public
interest.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION I. Tract 1, Unit 1, Expressway East Industrial District, 2815 East Central Expressway,
Wichita Falls, Texas, and shown as the shaded area on the attached map, incorporated in this ordinance as
Attachment No. 1, be rezoned from Heavy Industrial to Heavy Commercial Zoning District (Case R 96-
13).
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at which this ordinance
was passed was open to the public as required by law.
