ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS DEDICATING A 1.102 ACRE TRACT OF LAND OUT OF THE
E. SCURRY SURVEY, A -481, WICHITA COUNTY, TEXAS AS A
PUBLIC STREET; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE
MEETING AT WHICH THIS ORDINANCE WAS PASSED WAS OPEN
TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City is the owner of a certain tract of land out of the E. Scurry
Survey, A -481 Wichita County, Texas ;
WHEREAS, the property was acquired for the extension of Red Fox Street; and,
WHEREAS, the construction of the extension of Red Fox is complete, and,
WHEREAS, the City Council finds and determines that such property is for public
use.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The following described property is hereby dedicated for public use as a
public street.
A 1.102 acre tract of land out of the E. Scurry Survey, A -481, Wichita
County, Texas.
BEGINNING at the Northwest corner of a 12.19 acre tract of land
conveyed from James V. Warman and Lloyd P. Sutton to Helen Teague
Aldrich, as recorded at Volume 1388, Page 47, Wichita County Deed
Records;
THENCE East with the North line of said 12.19 acre tract for a distance
of 36.5 feet to a point on a curve to the right with a radius of 596.35
feet whose center bears South 65' 00' 33" West;
THENCE Southerly along said curve for an arc distance of 253.5 feet to
end of curve;
THENCE South 00° 38' East for a distance of 635.15 feet to the
beginning of a curve to the left with a radius of 751.45 feet;

THENCE Southerly along said curve for an arc distance of 68.2 feet to a
point in the North right -of -way line of Maurine Street, said point lying
on a curve to the right with a radius of 1,869.86 feet whose center bears
North 06° 36' 36" West;
THENCE Westerly with the North right -of -way line of Maurine Street
along said curve for an arc distance of 50.0 feet to a point on a curve to
the right with a radius of 801.45 feet whose center bears North 84' 10'
East;
THENCE Northerly along said curve for an arc distance of 72.7 feet to a
point at end of curve, said point lying North 89' 54' East 39.6 feet and
North 00° 38' West 154.65 feet from the Southwest corner of
aforementioned 12.19 acre tract;
THENCE North 00° 38' West, parallel to and 39.6 feet from the West
line of said 12.19 acre tract for a distance of 635.15 feet to the
beginning of a curve to the left with a radius of 546.35 feet;
THENCE Northerly along said curve for an arc distance of 255.83 feet
to a point;
THENCE North 890 59' 52" East, a distance of 19.21 feet to the
PLACE OF BEGINNING and containing 1.102 acres of land.
SECTION 2. The meeting at which this ordinance was passed was open to the public
as required by law.
