ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING EQUITY FUNDS
IN THE EMPLOYEE BENEFIT TRUST FUND
AND HOTEL /MOTEL FUND AND AUTHORIZING
VARIOUS BUDGET TRANSFERS FOR FISCAL
YEAR ENDING SEPTEMBER 30, 1996
WHEREAS, the City is currently in the process of closing the
City's financial records for the 1995 -96 fiscal year, and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that certain budgetary
adjustments are required to ensure that the City's departments
and funds have sufficient appropriations to cover expenses, and
WHEREAS, approval of the City Council is required to move
appropriations across funds and /or departments,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT THE FOLLOWING BUDGETARY
ADJUSTMENTS ARE AUTHORIZED FOR THE 1995 -96 FISCAL YEAR:
Transfer $70,000 from the Police Department to
Administrative Services; transfer $60,000 from the
Parks Department to Administrative Services; transfer
$8,000 from the Parks Department to Traffic
Engineering; transfer $3,500 from the Parks Department
to the Finance Department; appropriate $69,786 from
Employee Benefit Trust Fund Equity; and appropriate
$20,000 from Hotel /Motel Fund Equity.
