ORDINANCE NO.'�
AN ORDINANCE WAIVING SECTION 4220(I), OF THE ZONING
ORDINANCE, GOVERNING THE PLACEMENT OF A CARPORT IN THE
FRONT SETBACK AREA AT 1413 GUNNISON DRIVE; FINDING AND
DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS ORDINANCE
WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the Planning & Zoning Commission determined that all- weather access to locations
other than the front setback area was reasonably possible at 1413 Gunnison Drive; and,
WHEREAS, the owner of property located at 1413 Gunnison Drive requested a waiver of Section
4220(I) of the City of Wichita Falls Zoning Ordinance governing the placement of carports in the front
yard; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas deems it in the public interest to
waive this ordinance hereafter described.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA "
FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Section 4220(I) of the Zoning Ordinance governing the placement of carports in the
front yard, is hereby waived to allow a carport at 1413 Gunnison Drive, further described as Lot 22,
Block 35, Sunset Terrace III, Wichita Falls, Texas.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at which this ordinance
was passed was open to the public as required by law.
