ORDINANCE MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FROM THE WATER
AND SEWER FUND TO 1996/97 BUDGET FOR THE PURPOSE
OF A PUBLIC WATER LINE EXTENSION TO A NEW
MANUFACTURING FACILITY AT THE INTERSECTION OF SH
LOOP 240 (EASTSIDE DRIVE) AND AIRPORT DRIVE
WHEREAS, Fleetwood Homes of Texas is planning to construct a
manufacturing facility at the intersection of SH Loop 240 (Eastside
Drive) and Airport Drive for the manufacture of mobile homes;
WHEREAS, a 12 -inch water line must be extended in order to
provide process and fire suppression water for the facility;
WHEREAS, this project was not funded in the 1996/97 Budget, and
Council desires to appropriate sufficient funds for the project from
the Water and Sewer Fund to the 1996/97 Budget; and,
WHEREAS, the estimated cost of engineering and construction is
$132,000.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
There is hereby appropriated from the Water and Sewer Fund to the
1996/97 Budget Account Number 81- 703 -5276 an amount of $12,000 for
engineering and to Budget Account Number 81- 706 -5321 an amount of
$120,000 for construction of a 12 -inch water line to serve a new
manufacturing facility to be constructed by Fleetwood Homes of Texas.
