AN ORDINANCE WAIVING THE SCREENING REGULATIONS OF THE
ZONING ORDINANCE, APPENDIX C OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES,
FOR THE PROPOSED NEW HARVEST CHURCH, 1401 RED FOX DRIVE;
FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS
ORDINANCE WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED
BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the New Harvest Church at 1401 Red Fox has requested a waiver of the screening
requirement as required under Appendix C, Zoning Ordinance, of the Code of Ordinances;
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls is the only adjacent property owner affected by the screening
requirement, and has no objection to the removal of this requirement; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council has concluded that waiving this ordinance provision would be in the
public interest, where there exist conditions unique to affected properties and where the literal application
of existing regulations would harm, injure or unduly restrict the use or enjoyment of properties at 1401
Red Fox Drive.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Section 4620 of the Zoning Ordinance addressing screening requirements is hereby
waived for that portion of 1401 Red Fox Drive adjacent to Lynwood East Park, Wichita Falls, Texas.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at which this ordinance
was passed was open to the public as required by law.
